Tomorrowland is not only the world’s most famous electronic dance music festival but also one of the biggest and most important music events across the globe. Started in 2005, the festival is hosted in Boom, Belgium. Tomorrowland is known for its carnival like atmosphere with its impressive stage decorations and an artist line up which reads like the who’s who of the world’s best DJs. With the festival being spread across two weekends, Tomorrowland 2017 promises to be bigger and crazier than ever!

General accommodation details

On Site:

  • The camping area is called DreamVille. It has a whole website with perks and things to lookout for which you can access here.
  • There are four camping choices provided by Tomorrowland. All these include access to The Gathering which is the warm up party on Thursday. All camping options will cost extra as they are not included in the price of the ticket.There are no Caravans and Camper facilities at Tomorrowland.
    • The cheapest option available to you is the standard camping. To get this you will have to purchase a DreamVille five day pass. This option requires you to bring your own camping material to the event.
    • Another option is the Easy Tent five day pass. This option provides one tent per ticket, with each tent holding 2 to 4 people. The tent will be set up for you and you will be allowed to take the tent home with you at the end of the event.
    • One option is also the Relax Room five day pass. This option provides a room for 2 people per ticket. You will be given a lockable room with 2 beds, a light, clothing rack and separate sanitary facilities.
    • The most expensive and the most luxurious option is the Mansion five day pass. This can accommodate up to 12 people. The Mansion pass is located in a more secluded part of the Tomorrowland site, a short walk away from the festival. This is a luxury camping pad with a living room, sofas, a dining table, fully equipped beds, filled fridge, espresso machine and private lounge terrace. The price for this can be quite high.

Please note that hotels in the surrounding areas might get booked months in advance and that rates might be much higher than usual.

The 75 hectare De Schorre recreation area provides for a capacity of 180,000 attendees for the performances as well as for the Dreamville camping ground.

  • There will be almost 20 stages at Tomorrowland with each stage having its own personality and style of artists.

How to get Tickets

Tips

  • In order to be eligible for the Tomorrowland Ticket Sale and to buy your ticket you must complete the registration on the Tomorrowland website. If you are not registered before presale opens, you will not be able to access the Tomorrowland ticket page as access to the ticket page is only permitted by using your personalized link which you received in your confirmation email. It should be noted that registration does not guarantee you a ticket.
  • Tomorrowland tickets will be sent to you with special computerized bracelets. These bracelets will allow you in the festival and past festival security. These bracelets can be activated before arriving at the festival site online. Although once activated, you will not be able to sell your bracelet to anyone else. Only the person for whom a bracelet has been activated can attend the event and get past security.
  • Your passport / national id details will be collected when you purchase your ticket and the security will verify these details at the gate.

  • On Friday & Saturday: Access is denied post 10:00 pm.

  • Thursday: From 11:00 am (not earlier)
  • Friday: 24 hours
  • Saturday: Possible until 12:00 pm (later only possible at Main Entrance DreamVille at Nachtegaalstraat)
  • Sunday: No check-in

Check Out:

  •  Everyone must check out by 12:00 pm on Monday.

Reaching the venue

Bus

  • From Antwerp and Mechelen, you can use the free bus service to Tomorrowland provided by the public transport company De Lijn.
  • Bus 500 (Antwerpen – Boom – Mechelen) stops right in front of the main festival entrance.
  • Please note that DreamVille can only be reached with the special shuttle bus leaving at the railway station in Boom.
  • In the evening at the end of the festival, there is a free bus service to Antwerp and to Mechelen. Other destinations cannot be reached by public transport at that moment.
  • These services are available from Friday through Sunday of the festival weekend.
  • On Monday a free shuttle bus service will bring you from DreamVille to the railway station in Boom. The first shuttle bus will be around 7:00 am and the last one at 2:00 pm.

Shuttle

  • There are 2 Kiss & Ride zones close to the festival ground where you can be dropped off for free shuttles to the festival and from where you can find taxis on the way back.
  • The zones are accessible from both the highways near Boom:
    • A12 Exit 9 Boom (gps: Molenstraat, Boom). Follow the road signs “Kiss & Ride festival”.
    • E19 Exit 8 Rumst (gps: Tiburstraat, Rumst). Follow the road signs “Kiss & Ride festival”.
  • There is also a free shuttle service from the Boom station to Tomorrowland and DreamVille. Please note that this shuttle is the only public transport that will get you to DreamVille.

Train

  • If you are flying to Brussels Airport or Charleroi Airport on the Thursday prior to the festival, you can take a train to Mechelen and then a special DreamVille train to Boom.
  • In case you are arriving later then take a train to Puurs from Mechelen and then change for Boom.
  • From the Boom station you can take a free shuttle to the festival.
  • The journey from Brussels Airport to Boom will take you around an hour and cost EUR 11.20.

Own vehicle

  • There are enough parking spaces if you plan to drive down. Follow the parking signs from A12 andE19 exits.
  • If you are looking for carpool partners to share a ride with then visit the website http://eventpool.be/.

Others

Tomorrowland is hosted at the De Schorre recreational grounds in Boom. Boom is a town located between Brussels and Antwerp. You can get to Boom by taking a flight to Brussels or Charleroi. From there you can use public transport to reach Boom.
