The SkiStar Swedish Open or the Swedish Open Båstad, is a clay court tournament held in Båstad, Sweden in July each year. First held in 1948, the SkiStar Swedish Open was voted by players as the ATP World Tour 250 Tournament of the Year for 11 consecutive years from 2002-13. The event has been dominated by Swedes with Borg, Wilander and Gustafsson all winning three or more titles. Båstad, which hosts the event, is blessed with fascinating scenery with sea, forest and the flowering meadows all in the vicinity.
