Over the third weekend of September, more than 25000 filmmakers from 200+ cities came together to make 1000+ films in just a duration of 50 hours. They had to script, shoot, edit and upload the films – all in a given duration. Over the next 2 weeks, these films were judged by our jury Madhur Bhandarkar, Sriram Raghavan, Nagesh Kukunoor and Vetrimaaran.

In last 5 years, more than 22,000 filmmakers from 18 countries have participated and created 2500 films just in a duration of 50 hours.

Versatile and award winning popular filmmakers such as Shyam Benegal, Tigmanshu Dhulia, Shoojit Sircar, Hansal Mehta, Vikramaditya Motwane, Nikhil Advani, Umesh Shukla, Omung Kumar, Sanjay Gadhavi, Bejoy Nambiar, Ketan Mehta, Onir, Guneet Monga and film critic Raja Sen have served as juries at IFP previously.

The IFP Finale to be held on 1st October will see a confluence of India’s best content creators, from films and web, coming together and showcasing the larger picture. Towards the end of the day, the gala IFP awards ceremony will see the best 15 winners take away the trophy and screening of their films.
