Motul Grand Prix of Japan is a Japanese motorcycle Grand Prix held at Twin Ring Motegi, a motorsport racetrack located at Motegi, Japan. Located amongst vast natural beauty of the northern Kanto district the circuit consists of a 1.5 mile oval and 2.9 mile road course constructed to international standards. It was built by Honda as the ultimate test facility in 1997 and the road circuit became home to MotoGP in 2000. The oval is designed to introduce American motorsports culture to the country. The circuit is a major attraction for motorsports fans all around the year as it is the venue for Honda Collection Hall a museum which houses collection of motorcycle car and racing machines from throughout the ages. The complex also includes a safety and riding school, dirt track, go-karts, hotel, restaurant, shops and event halls.
