Grand Prix of Qatar

5th Mar keyboard_arrow_right 7th Mar 2021

The Qatar Grand Prix, also known as the Commercial Bank Grand Prix of Qatar after its sponsor, is the debut race of every MotoGP season. The race, which had its inaugural edition in 2004, as the Marlboro Grand Prix of Qatar, is held in the Losail (also called Lusail) International Circuit. This spectacular venue has a layout of 5.4 Km surrounded by artificial grass designed to prevent sand from blowing onto the circuit. Following the construction of permanent outdoor lighting, Qatar celebrated the first night time Grand Prix in 2008, which was a success and continues to be so. Experience the thrills of MotoGP along with the many sights and sounds of Doha by planning a visit to the Qatar Grand Prix this year!
