A part of the Grand Prix motorcycle racing season, the Italian motorcycle Grand Prix is a motorcycling event held at the Mugello circuit. Earlier the event was known as the Nations Grand Prix and it was held at Monza for the first 23 years of its existence. From 1972 to 1993 the event rotated among several circuits and has been held at Mugello Circuit since 1994. Located north east of Florence in the beautiful countryside of Tuscany, Mugello is a modern circuit with excellent facilities. The tack has been renovated to a high standard and has a growing reputation as one of the world’s most up to date, scenic and safest circuits. A blend of slow and fast turns with sweeping curves, long straights and off camber corners makes Mugello one of the most challenging circuits for the riders. Set within a beautiful tree lined Tuscan valley, the circuit offers ample viewing areas and a beautiful experience to its audience.
