Overview

The Formula One British Grand Prix is hosted at the Silverstone Circuit near the village of Silverstone in Northamptonshire in England. It was the first race held when the Formula One Championship was first introduced in 1950. The Silverstone circuit is one of the most iconic race tracks in the world and also plays host to a Moto GP Championship race. Visitors to Silverstone can expect to see some exceptional driving with the fast and formidable track demanding not just bravery but a certain degree of finesse to succeed.

Description

Club Silverstone at Becketts

Seats in the Club Silverstone Stand at Becketts offer clear views of the entry to Maggots S bend, the steep S bend of Becketts, and the exit onto Hangar straight at Chapel. This is an exceptional spot to enjoy a panoramic view. Tickets are available as a Becketts Club Silverstone (P1): 3-Day (Weekend) Pass for all ages.

International Pits Straight 1 (Band 2)

From Band 2 seats 01-93 see all the way to Stowe Corner, through Vale and Club Corner, the start/finish line, Pit Lane as well as the winners podium

Club Corner 1 - 3-Day Reserved (Band 2)

From Band 2 seats 532-573 will offer a full view of the International Pits Straight, with the start/finish line, Pit Lane and winners podium.

Club Corner 2 - 3-Day Reserved (Band 3)

Band 3 seats 440-529 offer a view from Stowe through to Vale down in to the International Pits Straight, with views of the winners podium.

Becketts (Band 3)

International Pits Straight 2 (Band 3)

Band 3 seats 93-420 provide a view from Club Corner through to the first corner of the circuit at Abbey. You will see the start/finish line, pits, and podium.          

Abbey (Band 4)

The Abbey Grandstand provides great views of the exit from Club Corner, along the International Pit Straight, into Abbey and out towards Farm Curve

Luffield B (Band 4)

From Luffield B you will have a prolonged view of the cars as they appear under the bridge on Wellington Straight and enter the Luffield Complex through to Woodcote.

Club Corner 3 - 3-Day Reserved (Band 5)

From Band 5 seats 316-436 see the cars come up from Stowe, through Vale and Club Corner down in to the International Pits Straight, with views of the winners podium

Luffield A (Band 5)

From Luffield A you will have a prolonged view of the cars as they enter the Luffield Complex through to Woodcote.

Village B1 (Band 5)

From Band 5 seats 01-30 see the drivers approach from Farm Curve before braking for Village Corner and The Loop. You will also see the cars as they speed through the Becketts section.

Woodcote A (Band 5)

Woodcote A offers great views of the slower Luffield complex, the acceleration zone of Woodcote and the high speed National Straight.

Club Corner 4 - 3-Day Reserved (Band 6)

Band 6 seats 217-312 upwards offer views from Stowe and Vale through Club Corner in to the International Pits Straight

Village B2 (Band 6)

From Band 6 seats from 31 upwards see the drivers approach from Farm Curve before braking for Village Corner and The Loop. You will also see the cars as they speed through the Becketts section.

Woodcote B1 (Band 6)

Woodcote B2 (Band 7)

Band 7 seats 34-154 offer views of the slower Luffield complex, the acceleration zone of Woodcote and the high speed National Straight.

Village A (Band 8)

From this section you will be able to watch the drivers approach from Farm Curve before braking for Village Corner and The Loop. You will also see the cars as they speed through the Becketts section.

Farm Curve 1 (Band 9)

Band 9 seats 1-198 offer a great view of the first turn after the start/finish straight.

Stowe B (Band 9)

From Stowe you will see the cars coming down the Hangar Straight, taking the high speed corner before continuing down to Vale.

Vale 1 (Band 10)

Band 10 seats 82-267 offer views of several straights and corners, including Stowe, Vale, Club, Farm and portions of Hangar Straight.

Farm Curve 2 (Band 10)

Band 10 seats 199-313 offer a great view of the first turn after the start/finish straight.

Stowe C (Band 10)

From Stowe you will see the cars coming down the Hangar Straight, taking the high speed corner before continuing down to Vale.

Copse A (Band 11)

From Copse A you will see the cars speeding down the National Straight into this fast paced corner.

Stowe A (Band 11)

From Stowe you will see the cars coming down the Hangar Straight, taking the high speed corner before continuing down to Vale.

Vale 2 (Band 11)

Band 11 seats 1-81 offer views of several straights and corners, including Stowe, Vale, Club, Farm and portions of Hangar Straight.

Copse B (Band 12)

From Copse B you will see the cars speeding down the National Straight into this fast paced corner.

Copse C (Band 12)

From Copse C you will see the drivers emerging from this fast paced corner.

National Pits Straight  (Band 12)

From the National Straight you will see the drivers come from Woodcote, speed down the National Straight before braking to enter the Copse Corner.

How to reach


General info

  • Virgin Trains run a dedicated service for British Grand Prix goers on Sunday 10 July. There will be shuttles to the venue from the station. Refer here for stations, time table and details. 
  • There are various Bus services for the British Grand Prix. Refer the Megabus and Bus tabs here.
  • Return Helicopter journeys are also provided by Silverstone Helicopters. Helicopter Shuttles will operate on Sunday 10 July from the helipad. Refer Silverstone Helicopters for details.
