Overview

The Formula 1 Azerbaijan Grand Prix started in 2016 in Azerbaijan’s capital city of Baku. Initially called the Grand Prix of Europe the race is held in the Baku City Circuit, designed by renowned F1 track architect Hermann Tilke. The Baku City Circuit claims to be the fastest street circuit of the season which coupled with its sharp and narrow turns as well as straights, where cars can run flat at a very high top speed, provide for a challenging and exciting race. Not only does the track provide a thrilling race but also its stunning backdrop, which includes Baku’s historic areas as well as its modern skyline and beautiful seaside promenade, ensures that you have an unforgettable experience.
