Overview

The ASB Classic formerly the Heineken Open (also referred to as the ATP Auckland Open), played in Auckland, is part of the New Zealand Festival Of Tennis, and offers a celebration of world-class tennis. This outdoor hard court  tournament is part of the ATP 250 and WTA International Series and takes place a week before the Australian Open. The ASB Classic is the season-opener for tennis players and fans alike and attracts a lot of top seeded players. Visit the event to witness top-seeded players in action as they fight it out to the win the 40 year old championship.

  • There is a box office located outside ASB Tennis Arena's Gate 1 on Tennis Lane.
  • The box office opens at: 
    • Mon - Thu: 11:00 am
    • Fri - Sat: 2:00 pm

Tips

 The different ticket types are: 

    • Ground Pass

      • The Ground Pass enables fans to watch every match live on the big screen, live tennis on Courts Two and Four, and enjoy daily music performances, entertainment offerings, premium dining and more and they are great value.  
      • Tickets can be purchased in advance from www.Ticketek.co.nz or at the gate on the day - at the venue will incur an additional USD 10.00 charge. 

    • Day Session Ticket

      • Valid for the Day Session only.
      • Once the Day Session is completed, day session ticket holders are able to stay on inside the venue and enjoy the entertainment and watch the Night session tennis on the Big Screen, as well as enjoy some of the fine dining available on site.
      • Tickets can be purchased in advance from www.Ticketek.co.nz or at the gate on the day - at the venue will incur an additional USD 10.00 charge. 
      • Tickets are subject to standard Terms and Conditions, Ticketek Transaction Fees, and gate fees.

    • Night Session Ticket

      • Valid for the Night Session only.
      • Tickets can be purchased in advance from www.Ticketek.co.nz or at the gate on the day - at the venue will incur an additional USD 10.00 charge.

Activities:

  • Heineken is excited to announce its new Baseline Live-site, located on the back courts at the ASB Tennis Arena on Stanley Street, which will be cranking from 12:00 pm daily for the duration of the tournament. The Live-site will be amping up the crowd everyday with resident DJ Issac Aesili curating an epic roster of NZ’s best DJs. Tennis fans will be able to soak up all the action and atmosphere and watch every match live on a giant screen and enjoy daily music performances, entertainment offerings, premium dining and more.
