Since 1971, Roskilde Denmark has been home to one of North Europe’s largest music and culture festival – The Roskilde Festival. With over 100 performances across eight days, the festival is attended by over 130,000 people. The profits from the festival are distributed amongst various charities. The Roskilde Festival showcases many genres of music including rock, alternative rock, punk rock, psychedelic rock, hip hop, world music and electronic music.
