Frequently Asked Questions

BY PLANE: The two nearest airports to MEO Sudoeste festival are Faro to the south of the festival, and Lisbon to the north. From Lisbon, Porto and Braga you can travel directly to the festival site via Rede Expressos buses, which run on each day of the festival. However the jounry from Faro is both longer and more complex. If you are landing at Faro, firstly take an EVA coach to Faro train station before boarding a CP train to Santa Clara-Saboia. Once there, you will need to take a taxi onto the festival site which will cost around €25.

BY TRAIN: Funcheira, the nearest railway station to the festival is served by Regional, Intercity and Alfa trains departing daily from Lisbon's Gare do Oriente station towards Faro.

BY CAR: Anyone travelling by car should head towards Odemira and then follow signs to Porto Covo and Vila Nova de Milfontes. Arriving in Vila Nova de Milfontes, continue on until you see a signpost for for Cabo Sardão, where you should turn right. Carry on along here for around 2km before taking a left onto Zambujeira, and then after 5km, you should find the festival on your left.

Anyone aged over 6 can attend the festival, but all children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
