Overview

Awakenings is a collective name for techno parties organized in Amsterdam, Netherlands. The annual Awakenings festival is the biggest techno festival in the Netherlands including Dance and Electronic music apart from Techno. The venue Spaarnwoude is a recreational area in the Dutch province of Noord- Holland and is named after the village Spaarnwoude. In addition to recreational use, various events like Dance Valley, Awakenings, Latin Village, etc are held at Sapaarnwoude. Often billed as one of world’s largest outdoor techno festival, Awakenings keeps getting better and better with more than 100 international acts and DJ’s in line up for 2015. The festival has good reputation and is popular with music fans. Past performances at the festival include international superstars such as Carl Cox, Jeff Mills, Adam Beyer, Joseph Capriati, Marco Carola, JorisVoorn and Sven Vath.

Need to carry an official declaration of doctor. In case of doubt this will be subject to checking by the first aid crew.

 

Specifications:

  • No weapons, sharp or dangerous objects are allowed.
  • Hard and Soft drugs both are not allowed at the festival.
  • No club oriented football shirts (football shirts of national teams are allowed), or shirts/ stickers with offending lyrics, symbols, etc. Keep your shirt on.
  • Smoking inside the tents is not allowed. Smoking on the outdoor stages and designated areas is allowed.
  • Pressurized cans and perfume bottles are not permitted. Deodorants and sunscreen are only allowed in the original sealed container, but are also available at the toilets inside the festival.
  • In case of lost items, if you find something you can drop it off at the iLost stand at the festival. The items will be collected and uploaded on the iLost system, you can check at their stand or on the website and regain your belongings.
