Last, but definitely not the least, on our list of US music festivals to attend this summer is the Firefly Music Festival.

20th to 23rd June, 2019

The Woodlands of Dover International Speedway, Dover, Delaware

The Firefly Music Festival, one of the most respected and well-planned music events in the US, started in 2012. The creators of Firefly dreamt of it as the perfect “summer day” style festival. It has lived up to that label and today boast of a huge community of loyal fans.

Firefly is the Lollapalooza of Delaware, in that thousands of people from all over gather for a four-day long music festival full of incredible music and a whole lot of fun. Firefly will kick off its eighth year with a number of improvements to the fan experience, including a streamlined three-day schedule, a slate of new programming and the launch of the Firefly Loyalty Program.

The Firefly Music Festival kicks off on Friday, June 21, with headlining shows from Panic! At The Disco, Tyler The Creator, and Zedd. In addition, Griz, Arkells and Paramore’s Zac Farro project HalfNoise are among the bands playing.

Dashboard Confessional, Bishop Briggs, Andrew McMahon in the Wilderness, Snail Mail and more are playing the second day, June 22. The Saturday headliners are Travis Scott, Death Cab For Cutie and Kygo. In addition to all that, Emo Nite will also be performing a special set.

Firefly Festival 2019 will take place in Dover at The Woodlands of Dover International Speedway, a 105-acre (42 ha) festival ground, over the span of four days. The venue is centrally located within driving distance from Philadelphia, New York City and Washington D.C, making the First State an ideal and convenient destination for this premier music experience.

The festival producers have been working together to establish the event at the current venue with the hopes of having “an open-air festival on the East Coast with plenty of outdoor camping”.  The festival includes seven stages; The Porch Stage, The Lawn Stage, The Backyard Stage, the Treehouse, The Coffee House, The Pavilion and The Firefly Stage.

Tickets for the festival are available and start at $299 for weekend passes. More information about ticket passes can be found here. Firefly offers three different pass options: General Admission, VIP and Super VIP.
