We had an amazing time on this tour! Richard is a fantastic guide, really bringing stories to life and going above and beyond. It was great to experience so many bars and actually get seats in most places on a Saturday night! We had a great group and would hesitate to book again.

Fantastic experience! Richard, our tour guide, was a wealth of knowledge and charismatic. We learned a lot and drank a lot and we’re sorry it had to end.

Richard gave us a great stroll through the pubs talking about the lives of the artists and writers that frequented them. He answered all of our questions and demonstrated a great love for England and its contributions to the literary world. Highly recommend for a fun night out walking through the Fitzroy and SoHo areas of London.

Richard was very interesting, personnable and a great story teller. We had a wonderful time, saw some great pubs, had a few drinks, while actually learning a few thing on the way. Highly recommend the tour.

A hugely enjoyable tour, the guide was very knowledgeable and made the information interesting and accessible. We would certainly recommend this tour to anyone with even a passing interest in literature.

A very entertaining and informative tour of literary Fitzrovia and Soho with our knowledgeable and entertaining guide Richard. We're Londoners, but learned a lot. There were several pub stops, always in appropriately distanced locations so that we felt quite safe.

This is my third pub tour. I felt there was one too many pubs, a little too much blurb and there was no need to read passages of books.

A last minute booking during a Christmas break in London, which became the highlight of our trip. The tour trumped Buckingham Palace, The Tower of London and The British Museum, although this is possibly due to the copious amounts of alcohol included. Our guide, Richard, was extremely knowledgable, the tour was surprisingly interesting and we ourselves were adequately lubricated to form fond memories. This isn't a tour, nor does it claim to be, it is a pub crawl around a highly pub-ulated area of London in the company of an actor that knows alot about the literary roots of the area. Richard met us in the first pub of the evening and proceeded to tailor the crawl specifically to our small group, the information was interesting, the beer was good and the whole event a great experience. Would highlight recommend this to people that like a good beer and appreciate a good book, if you're only a fan of one or the other, do it anyway! A previous post says that the guide didn't point out the blue plaque of Marx, he did on our trip so you can be assured that feedback is addressed.
