Loved the places and wish we had more time at Cantebury Cathedral. We had too much time at the Castle. The guide was nice but really off her phone when giving us the history.

We loved the tour leader and the driver. Both were entertaining, the tour leader was well informed and taught us all a lot. She made the history very real and personal not dry or boring at all. We are history buffs so we enjoyed all the side lights that she was able to impart. Canterbury Cathedral was awe inspiring and beautiful. We took the War Tunnels tour at Dover which was very informative for a non-UK tourist. After the tunnels tour, there was not much time left to tour the Castle but we had a great time anyway. The white cliffs themselves were great to see. The walk was perfect, even though a bit muddy.

Everything was beautiful. I eish there would have been a little more time at the cliffs, but all other time at stops was great.

This tour was amazing and I would highly recommend. The tour guide was so nice and there was so much history to learn about. Great views of the cliffs and enough time to explore.

Dover Castle was wonderful, docents/staff were very helpful. Amazing history, stories. Cliffs of Dover was nice. The weather turned out to be dry and somewhat sunny which made the experience that much better. Beautiful landscape. Canterbury Cathedral was a great tour (recommend the shortened audio tour - 18 stops inside the Cathedral). Our tour guide for the trop was very friendly and helpful. Bus/coach driver was quite opinionated about other drivers. He got us to and from safely but seemed to be having a bad day with his complaining about other drivers.

The train strike ruined our plans to spend more time in Dover. We really wanted to visit the White Cliffs, so signed up for this day trip with Anderson. Reading other reviews, it seems your experience will depend a lot on the guide you get. Our guide Yasmin provided very little commentary, mostly just a bit in London. Nothing about our destinations, history, anecdotes, etc. And what she did say was almost inaudible in the back of the bus. Also not emphatic about where and when to rejoin the bus, which led to waiting 25 minutes for someone to return (handled poorly). The guide just handed out entry tickets to the castle and cathedral - the day was self-guided. We had about 45 minutes at the White Cliffs, but it is a brisk 20 minute walk to the first good viewpoint, so it was an unsatisfying experience considering this was our main goal. Adding to the confusion was the large red LED clock at the front of the bus, which was wrong by 15 minutes. People were guessing whether departure was according to real time or "bus time". I told the driver that the bus clock was wrong. His response: "There is a clock on the bus???". It was never fixed nor addressed by the guide. So consider this tour as transportation to three self-guided locations. Kudos to the driver for safely navigating tough conditions.
