The trip was too fast and the visit to Shakespeare's birthplace was underwhelming. Oxford was great, but there just wasn't enough time to see it. All of this could have been recovered with a more informative, interesting commentary from the guide. Unfortunately, the narrative was disjointed and repetitive.

Visits to all three locations were interesting. I was traveling with 3 teenage boys who weren’t very interested in Shakespeare, but who really enjoyed the visit to the schoolroom. The COTSWOLds were lovely. Oxford interesting too.

Two destinations in a day are just perfect. We had a small group which was really good for this sort of tour because we had some extras with a couple of visits to old churches in the Cotswolds as well as close ups of beautiful cottages. Michel was our driver and tour guide and he was excellent- sharing lots of extra information as we went on our way. Stratford upon Avon was better than I could have imagined. The tour now includes a visit to Shakespeare’s schoolhouse in the original guild building. The staff in there was extremely informative and we had an impromptu performance by the master in charge of the school room. A walk around the town afterwards allowed for lunch and shopping. Oxford is a busy student and tourist town. We had plenty of time to stroll through the streets and see some of the university’s fabulous buildings. We walked down to the Thames and watched some rowers practicing in the river. During the drive back into town the traffic was busy but nothing took away the pleasure and satisfaction of a lovely day out.

My aunt and uncle loved every bit of the tour and were raving about it. They enjoyed seeing the colleges, getting details on Shakespeare and all the stops in Cotswolds! they said they would highly recommend it

We had a fabulous day on this trip. The pick up at Earl's Court was extremely convenient. Our guide Mark was excellent. He was very knowledgable and he even took the time to walk us to Christ College in Oxford as my wife particularly wanted to see it. The timing of the tour was fine and the choice of photo stops in the Cotswolds was great - we saw churches with gun shot holes in the door, beautiful scenery and postcard streetscapes. I highly recommend this trip.

This was my second trip with Anderson tours. Highly recommended ! Trip was good and was worth the money . Suggest to have more time in oxford rather than spending time in photo stops at cotswold. But no complains as such . Overall it was a memorable trip 🙂 thanks

We had a tour at Stratford on Avon as planned but things went downhill from there. Our photo stops at two villages in the Cotswolds turned out to be a couple of stops by the side of the road, not at the quaint villages mentioned in the brochure, and we were just dropped off at Oxford with no tour at all. When I asked the driver / guide what we should go see he said to just go down the road and you’ll see everything. We didn’t know what to look for or where anything was. It was a complete waste of time.

Amazing Tour! My friend and I really enjoyed every second of it... the driver, Michele, was really nice and helpful, ready to answer to all our questions and curiosities. Everything perfectly on time! I will join Anderson tour again in future to explore some more of this beautiful country! Thank you!
