So disappointing. Logistics is a mess. Booked 1 month ago and our food tour was cancelled 2 days prior when we were already in London. We were able to rebook for the following day BUT it was a disaster. We arrived at the tour and a family was there talking to the “tour guide” because their tour had been cancelled and they had not received any notice. After that mess we started our tour that would end abruptly. The tour guide said “where do you guys want to start? Do you want to eat now or at the end?” We were puzzled. We want to do whatever is supposed to happen in the food tour, which is you ally tastings along the way. She mentioned that there was a budget of $25 per person so she would take us to the borough market and we could choose an entree, sit down and eat and maybe there would be budget for dessert. WHAT?? This tour clearly states “fish & chips, mushy peas, Scottish egg, ale, and world famous dessert. We read it to her aloud and she was so puzzled. She kept talking about her “budget” and that we might be able to fit in certain city highlights. Again, we read her the description of the locations that were clearly meant to be included in the tour. She simply didn’t know what the tour was supposed to entail but this was an expensive private tour. It is not this woman’s fault. It was clear that this company sent her out with no food tour experience and/or knowledge of what the tour consisted of and left her to fail. Me and my friend paid a total of $274 dollars for a tour that was completely a mess, no knowledge of even the description of the tour and a ridiculous “budget of $25”. What on earth were you thinking LONDON TOP SIGHTS TOUR!?!” You can’t treat tourists like this. They said they will reimburse us but money isn’t the point. People travel and make plans well in advance and you ruin a whole day of activities. You also ruined the day for that other family that didn’t know their tour had been cancelled. DON’T BOOK WITH THIS COMPANY. THEY ARE A MESS AND WILL EITHER CANCEL RIGHT BEFORE YOUR TRIP OR MAKE A MESS OF IT ALTOGETHER. You can’t plan in advance with this company. Don’t trust them.
