Brilliant time spent with the Alternative London crew - the walking tour was so interesting and the workshop was really fun. Neither of us are particularly arty but we managed to create two canvases we were super happy with. Would thoroughly recommend.

This was an outstanding experience. The guide was knowledgeable, thorough, very personable, and keen to share with us his love for street art. Beginning with a brief but important discussion about what constitutes street art, and how it is defined by its being ephemeral, the tour showed us a wealth of street artists’ work and styles. But the tour went far beyond art appreciation. We learned about the East End’s history, the peoples and cultures that made it home, and the current socio-economic trends shaping both the area and street art more broadly. My teenage son was fascinated. The workshop at the end brought it all together. I would say that everyone visiting London should take the tour.

I had a lot of fun on the street art tour! Now I can walk around Shoreditch and pick out some of the artists and have a basic understanding of the culture of street art here. I also joined the workshop and it was a lot of fun and inspiring. I paid the little bit extra to take it home on a bag. Our guide was warm, friendly and since she is an artist herself we got to talk about her own experience in the scene. It also rained off and on and our guide was great at finding sheltered spots so we could continue and everyone was well prepared.

Alice was an incredible guide. We had a blast. There’s soooo much that she shared on the tour if you are interested in learning more about different artists and their stories and styles. It was fun to play around with our own graffiti too! Thanks so much

The tour is excellent. How can we miss so much when walking along streets. Knowledgeable guide who introduced us to new artists, techniques and places. The workshop at the end of the tour cemented what we had seen and gave us a chance to try it out for ourselves. Lovely for couples and families with children over 10 years old.

Unbelievable afternoon exploring London’s best graffiti spots. Gary’s knowledge of the artists, art work, and styles was endless! Such an incredible insight to the history and culture behind the art. I took my 10 year old, and he loved every minute! Finished off with a hands on graffiti workshop. My son was able to learn the different techniques, styles, and spray some walls. He loves his graffiti, so this was such a special ending to an amazing day! If you’re visiting London, this tour is a MUST! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
