I’ve done Sandeman tours in at least 5 different cities but this was not up to the standard I expected. As other reviewers have suggested, the groups are getting really big. A group which would usually be split in 2 is not kept as 1. Today there were around 30ppl. The route was good and I learnt some new things but often struggled to hear and with the group so large, we got seperated whilst crossing roads so had to try and spot the guide walking away in the distance. A real shame on this one i’m afraid.

We had a great time. Tour guide was very well organized and covered history from the Roman’s through Modern day. We enjoyed the supplemental pictures and that he found quiet spots in the city to make his talking points. It is a 3 hour tour that covers about 3 miles during that time so best for active travelers.

Quirky facts. Good variety of landmarks covered. Good pace. Opportunity to ask questions. Tour was actually about two hrs though.
