Comparing this tour with the self-guided tour which I did a few years ago. On the self guided tour you go at your own pace and see as much detail as you want. On this fully guided tour, you will only see highlights and it is absolutely not a substitute for the regular tour. They encourage you to go back in after this tour and see the things you missed. You will hear interesting details, but I'm not sure they are that much different from taking the audio tour and reading all the placards yourself. It was nice to have a tour guide move us to the front of the displays, but I felt a little bad for the people who got moved out of the way. As for the transportation, it is easily done on your own, so I don't think it's worth it. You can go to Euston Station, get your ticket to Watford Junction, and then take the bus to the studios. Do the reverse to return. This visit was fine--since I had seen it before--but I felt a little disappointed for the people in our group who missed out on things because we didn't have time to stay longer. If you want a "nutshell" tour, this is great. If you want more, plan on spending the time and money on this tour and then go back and see the things you missed. It will take all day.

This was an absolutely great tour. Ashleigh (our guide at the studio) was very knowledgeable and enthusiastic. I loved seeing all of the sets and learning about how it all came together. We had a couple of super fans on the tour which made it all a lot of fun!

This was a fantastic tour and smooth from pick-up and travel to the actual tour provided by Earner Bros staff. Our guide was Lauren B and she was fantastic. She must have known every behind the scenes piece of information there was. She always made sure we could get to the front to hear and see everything. And, we saw so many more props and costumes up close. This was so enjoyable. Even my husband who has never read one of the books or seen one of the movies thoroughly enjoyed it due to the fascinating behind the scenes.

We had a fantastic time on this tour. It was magical. Our tour guide at the Warner Bros Studio, David, was fantastic. The tour went through City Wonders and Sophie was very helpful and upbeat. We enjoyed our time.

Our guide unfortunately was not that enthusiastic or engaging. It was a long tour (more than 4 hours) and then you go back to do it again for the cool things you miss on the tour, so it's a really long experience, in my opinion too long. I was also expecting to hear some interesting behind the scenes stories, but most of the things he shared are already there on the boards and screens available for everyone else, so nothing special.

Harry Potter studio is great - but DO NOT book anything through Viator. This company sells the tours to local companies so there is a huge middleman. Our guide from London did not even show up so we ended up taking a $100 cab ride to the studio. Then the next day- Viator cheese crawl in London - left us behind and we had zero communication ability with Viator. Stick with local crusted companies. Or better yet- use a travel agent

DO IT! I waited too long and all of the cheaper options were sold out, so I decided to splurge and booked this one instead because there were 2 tickets left for the day we wanted. BEST decision ever! I am a HP fan (books & movies), and my adult daughter enjoyed the movies. We both absolutely loved our tour. I wasn't sure what to expect, and the ride over on the train was uneventful and short. But once we met up with our guide Fraser, everything was magical. I won't spoil the secrets within but basically if you are an HP fan, and you want to see the real film props, sets, etc. this place is incredible to begin with. But when you add in an expert guide who can fill you in on all of the super secret details and answer all of your geeky questions, in a small group (max of 8 - our group was only 6) - well, it's just that much better. We hit all the highlights, and Fraser was able to go into the exhibits and show us extra special details you wouldn't normally see or know (like Helena Bonham Carter's Bellatrix teeth and the story behind how she scares her kids' friends with a matching set at home, and how Evanna Lynch made all of her own accessories for Luna Lovegood, including the beaded turnip earrings she wore to her audition). I will seriously remember this visit forever, and I will be extra dangerous at HP Trivia now. If you like HP, and you're making the journey to the studios, do it the right way and book this package!
