Duration - 7 to 9 hours
Take a fully private and bespoke tour from London to the home of Jane Austen in the heart of Hampshire. Then explore the beautiful historic city of Winchester, England's ancient capital, home to King Arthur's round table and the magnificent Cathedral.
Visit the place where Jane Austen revised her drafts of Pride and Prejudice and Sense and Sensibility, and the very rooms
in which she wrote Mansfield Park and Emma. Then wander the streets of Winchester, and view the humble and often missed cottage where Jane spent her final days with her sister Cassandra. We will also have time to visit your choice of either Winchester Cathedral or The Great Hall containing King Arthur's Round Table.

My family of four went on this tour with Richard last week, and we had a wonderful time! Richard picked us up directly from our London hotel, and we were off to Jane Austen-land. We were able to visit little known locations that I'm sure the average tourist would find impossible to locate without a guide. We loved visiting the Steventon Church, seeing the ewe trees, visiting Jane Austen's home and museum in Chawton, a special tea room lunch, and exploring Winchester and its cathedral. Richard was extremely accommodating throughout our day, and we are so thankful he was our guide. I would highly recommend this tour to any Jane Austen enthusiasts or anyone who would enjoy some of the less busy but very picturesque tourist sites in England. There was no waiting at any location, and we received wonderful personal service.
