Our trip was scheduled on June 30th. Fast forward to September 23rd. We leave in less than a week. I woke up to an email stating due to a Eurostar rail strike, which does not effect the staff at all, our trip has been cancelled. I spent over 2 hours trying to reschedule something while we are still in London on our trip. There were a couple of options, but they seem to either be filling up quickly or showed available, but never were truly available. because after being on the phone with customer service for close to an hour, the only thing available was 3 times the price, what we were currently paying for this Guided Day Trip. When on the phone with the customer service rep, I had to confirm I received an email saying I would be getting a full refund, before they would 'release the refund payment' to my account. What if people don't know to call in? Do they just miss out on their refund, even though they have an email stating one would be issued, I thought that was interesting. I did receive another confirmation email stating the refund would show back in my account in 3-7 business days. I wish they would have assisted us in finding another Paris Day Trip if one was truly available. When I was looking myself on Viator, it just seemed like the options left were being snatched up real fast. But when talking to the rep on the phone, she was saying that nothing was available again until October 17th. Which doesn't help as our trip ends October 6th. I wish it was in their policy to assist with finding an alternative option or replacement in the price range for the customer. When talking on the phone, she kept offering another Paris trip that was way outside of what we have previously paid. I had turned it down a few times in the phone call. I wish they would have asked if I had been to London before, or any follow up questions, to help recommend or suggest places for my party to check out. This was not the case. The company came across as this wasn't their problem, so they don't have to assist in a solution. While that may be true, it will get me to question whether I should be booking with them again in the future.

We booked this trip on April 17th to be taken on July 18th. Prior to the trip date we received multiple emails from Viator telling us to "be ready" our trip to Paris was coming up. Arriving in Londo the 17th we went that evening to be sure we understood where the "meet point" was. We arrived the next morning at 5:15am (45 min early) to be sure things went well. One hour after the meet time we fully understood something was wrong. After spending the morning investigating we received information this tour, by Golden Coach Tours had been canceled for months! After another couple of hours I reached Viator by email and got a response and refund for the full amount of $1,568.36. To add insult to injury Viator continued to send me emails asking "how was your Paris trip"? A complete disconnect and system failure. IMPORTANT to VIATOR - when on vacation the most valuable thing is time, providing a refund is not sufficient for your poor business performance here. You wasted our time which is unforgivable and deserves at minimum an apology if not compensation.

I booked a day trip from London to Paris which was operated by viator. Turned up at 5.30 am on 17th June at the Eurostar entrance as instructed only to find that the trip had been cancelled. Needless to say no one bothered to inform me. I only found because an American couple who were booked on the same trip had texted the operator and had just been informed. How can they treat their customers like this. it is absolutely appalling. I spoke to the Viator representative who was most apologetic and arranged my refund. I had arranged to meet friends in Paris and I had also purchased Euros which I had to changed at a loss to myself. They knew that these trips were no longer being operated and no-one thought to inform their customers. I gather they hope to start trips again in October. Needless to say, if they do, I will NOT be using their services.

Trip was cancelled without explanation. Do NOT use this company. They are unreliable, difficult to communicate with and unhelpful

We began our day in London, but through the magic of the Eurostar, we were in Paris by mid-morning. We had a wonderful guide & a trainee who made us feel comfortable in a country where we didn’t speak the language. A bus tour of the city led us to the famous Arch de Triumph. We gathered at a small shop where they had toilets as well as some tee shirts & other souvenirs. The shopkeeper spoke English & was very helpful in helping us get the correct sizes. He told us we could leave our purchase there until later so we didn’t have to carry them around. Off we went to the second level of the Eiffel Tower. We had lunch at whatever restaurant caught our eye & met again for a cruise on the River Seine. Our final stop was a delightful tour on our own at the Louvre Museum where we saw the Mona Lisa first hand & Venus de Milo. We returned to the bus then the Eurostar tired but very happy & pleased you have visited the City of Lights in a totally different country then where we were vacationing.

Passengers trying to access trains under time pressure with bags and children now have to pass by an entrance restricted by open shelving heave with bottles of alcohol and packaging of cosmetics. In a vulnerable environment, these changes are very hazardous.

I thoroughly appreciated having a guide for our day in Paris. Erlon did a great job explaining all of the sites. We were able to get right through into the Eiffel Tower and the River Cruise was a effective way to view many sites. As mentioned, plan accordingly for meal times as there was lots to see and do. We were able to grab a reasonably priced bite to eat at the Eiffel Tower. This tour was a great way to get a preview of Paris. We'll be back to explore further another time!
