Start off your private trip to London with an introduction to culture and civilizations at the monumental collection of the British Museum, spanning 6000 years of human history. It features items from all over the world like Samurai armor and rare Assyrian lion hunt reliefs. Our guides will take a serious but enjoyable approach towards the museum’s galleries, discussing primitive tribes and fallen empires through a carefully chosen selection of items. You’ll learn about the Mummy of Katebet, the Lewis Chessmen, and the Rosetta Stone – the actual rock, not the language learning program. Becky is wonderfully well versed in history and art, and was able to point out the highlights of the British Museum and the other sights. She was also open to minor detours in the museum (which is vast) according to our interest, which made it even more enjoyable. She clearly loves art and history, and her authentic enjoyment of the subject elevates the experience. Thanks Becky! :-)

Small group tour was great. The museum is huge so it really helped to have a knowledgeable guide break it down. Andy was very knowledgeable with a great sense of humor, even when a couple in our group kept inexplicably asking how much everything weighed! Highly recommend!

Anthony (Tony) was our guide and provided the perfect mix of academic based facts and anecdotal information that provided full picture of the item we were viewing and the times in which it came from. His style of education and sense of humor gave us (2 adults,2 teens from USA) a wonderful experience.
