Stop At: Windsor Castle, Castle Hill, Windsor SL4 1PD England

Our first stop is Windsor Castle, the ancestral home of the British Royal family for more than 900 years and the largest, continuously occupied castle in Europe. Marvel at the splendour of the State Apartments, the grandest apartments in England, where paintings by Van Dyck and Rubens hang from the walls and the ceilings are painted with elaborate, magnificent murals.

Step inside St George’s Chapel, where HRH Prince Harry married Ms Meghan Markle and the tombs of prominent previous monarchs are located, including Henry VIII and Charles I. Don’t miss a colourful display of typical British pageantry that takes place every morning at the Changing the Guard ceremony, where the handover of duties between guards to the Queen takes place. If Her Majesty is in Windsor during your visit, you may be lucky enough to see the Royal Standard flying on the flagpole of the Round Tower.

The entire trip was great. Glynn and Eugene were fantastic in managing our group. We always arrive and leave each landmark on time. Eugene is a fun tour director! He is very considerate and makes sure that he doesnt overload us with information. Glynn is a master of the road. Great teamwork! The locations were amazing. This was a great itinerary if you’re done exploring the city.

Visiting Bath was so pleasant! Loved the quaint environment…outdoor cafes, the beautiful Abbey and Roman Architecture. Stonehenge was interesting. Unfortunately Windsor castle was closed, but enjoyed stopping by during the tour. Thoroughly enjoyed our guide, Eugene. He was knowledgeable, helpful and enjoyable to listen to. Paul was an exceptional bus driver. Thank you for the wonderful day!

This was a great tour and our guide was very informative. It was unfortunate that we could not get into Windsor Castle. Will have to do that again but just a day tour of Windsor. There was not enough time in Oxford or Windsor since they are so big.

We enjoyed this tour and the places we went. Only wish we had more time at Windsor Castle! The tour guide was great and loved the headphones to hear him as we went from place to place.

Our guide and driver were wonderful. We toured a few days before the Queens funeral. Everywhere was busy, but our driver and guide handled it with grace. We wanted to see everything during this time, it was amazing. The vox box didn’t work in Windsor, that is the only reason for the 4 stars. Luckily she found another one to use for the rest of the trip!

No time to enjoy Stonehenge, for shortchanged, very long bus lines there. Despite multiple talks we waited 15-20 minutes twice for folks that ignored being on time. This put us 30 minutes behind. We should have left them as she said we would do.

It was very fun! Our guide was friendly and informative, and set clear expectations for the group. There wasn’t quite enough time in Oxford, so I would recommend either booking a place in advance for right after the tour (which is what I did), or definitely plan to come back some time!
