Evan Evans Tour - Stonehenge INNER CIRCLE ACCESS & Windsor (Early) - the guide Simon was fantastic. Very witty and entertaining. Kept everyone informed of the days events and very helpful. Brilliant and entertaining stories for some of his high level history lessons. Kept me captive! 10/10 - Inner circle Stonehenge was excellent and I’d highly recommend. Early start but worth it. 10/10 - We almost ran out of room at Windsor Castle, but worth doing too. This was self guided. All of the state rooms do not allow photography. 9/10 - Maria the driver, excellent at turning and staying between the lines Only constructive feedback: - Coach had no wifi and was at times far too warm. Back of seat netting ripped at the bottom so couldn’t hold anything. 7/10

This was a wonderful tour! Simon from Evan Evans tours was the perfect guide, and had all sorts of small tidbits to share that were great to learn. If you were on the fence between doing this one and a Stonehenge tour without inner circle access, I would definitely recommend the inner circle. It was truly amazing and an unforgettable experience. The time in Windsor was also wonderful. I bought a ticket to the castle and had enough time to leisurely do the self-guided tour, grab some food, and do a little shopping before heading back to the tour bus. All in all this is a wonderful tour and I definitely recommend this to others.

The entire tour from start to finish was absolutely fabulous! Our tour guide, Simon ( aka Hagrid ;) ) was so great! He had wonderful knowledge of all our stops and all the places along the way! He made sure that even though it was an early tour that we were entertained and full of energy! He made sure to give us the best views and even helped make sure we got the best pictures! This tour is absolutely worth it to get to see the inner circle with no crowds and the chance to stop at Windsor.

Absolutely the best! Guide (Andy) and driver (John) went above and beyond. Andy has a great background in history and archeology and a passion for sharing all this with visitors to Stonehenge. John keeps his bus in pristine condition, a very comfortable ride. The early morning arrival was well worth the early alarm and ride in the dark from London. Sunrise within the Stones was breathtaking. Highly recommend!

The hotel we were instructed to meet at at 5:15 AM was locked when we arrived and it didn't seem the hotel staff knew that this was an Evan Evans tour meeting place. Thankfully, we were able to talk the hotel staff into letting us in so we didn't need to wait out in the cold. The tour bus arrived promptly and our guide Simon and driver Mark were entertaining and professional throughout. My father can't walk long distances, and Mark was especially helpful in loading/unloading his travel wheelchair throughout the tour. The tour stopped for a comfort break halfway to Stonehenge. Do be advised that you cannot take hot food or hot drinks on the tour bus. Stonehenge itself was very wheelchair accessible, and it was definitely worth the price to get access to the inner circle. We had plenty of time to take pictures (Simon did a great job taking all the photos) and to explore the site. If you using a travel wheelchair please be advised that Windsor has a lot of cobble stones and it can be challenge to move the wheelchair around through that portion of the tour.

This was such an amazing experience and worth the added expense for the opportunity to get so close to this ancient site. Windsor Castle was still closed, due to the passing of Queen Elizabeth II and that was a bit disappointing, but very understandable.

Very well organized with wonderful commentary by historian and retired royal bodyguard Andy. Access to the inner circle of Stonehenge was out of this world.

Being able to go inside the Inner Circle is the only way to really fully experience Stonehenge and you can only do this with a few tours. Manon was our guide for the day along with Chris at the Stones and we were allowed a good amount of time inside the circle. They were both informative and fun. It was also historical to be at Windsor and see all the flowers and preparation for the Queen.

We had a good trip to Stonehenge, learning history of London and Windsor along the way. Inner circle access allowed us to get up close to the stones and it was a wonderful experience. Our tour guides Chris and Manon are very knowledgeable and Lee is a great driver. Highly recommend!

If you are thinking about visiting Stonehenge, do it with this tour. Manon was so knowledgeable about Windsor Castle and the Royals and the history. Then Stonehenge, she gave us a lot of information that was fascinating. We then had Chris who works for the Heritage lead us to the inner circle. He is a wealth of knowledge and quite funny. Lee smoothly guided our coach through the countryside and city. In the city, Manon again gave us interesting details about buildings and the area we were driving through. Please do this trip, it’s a once in a lifetime opportunity that most people to Stonehenge will never get, and you will never forget it.
