Whew! What a busy day! Paul was an outstanding guide, great and comfortable bus ride. Paul gave us very informative commentary as we rode along and prior to each stop. I would have liked to have more time at Windsor . Maybe doing 2 of the three locations would have allowed for that. Enjoyed the day very much !

The whole trip was fantastic but Windsor Castle was the highlight. It was a beautiful day and this has been a highlight on our trip to London!

Firstly, Maria was an excellent guide - knowledgeable, funny and witty, and able to answer any question. Unfortunately, this day trip must have been planned during pre-pandemic times or at any rate does not account for current levels of tourism. We were extremely rushed at every point - at Windsor, we were forced to abandon our place in line and literally run in order to make it back to the bus in time. It would have been better for the guide to keep us together and give us the tour as a group rather than letting us go in all directions. At Stonehenge, the entire time was spent waiting in line and we barely glanced at the stones before needing to turn back. At Oxford, we elected to stay with the group as we could tell that there would not be enough time to do much of anything. Sure enough, our own group was late returning to the bus (and even had to abandon purchasing food, which we did not have time to do all day) and had to wait almost 40 minutes for the others to return. Overall, you should choose only one or two of these destinations to see in a day, not all three. If you do this tour, bring a sack lunch with you and be prepared to walk quickly and see highlights (if that) only.

It’s rare to leave a review and want to write more than the space allows; however, in this case, Mel, our tour guide from Evan Evan’s Tours is worth filling all of the space! Mel held our attention from the moment we boarded the bus and didn’t let up until the very end. His story telling ability is bar none —-among the very best. He was extremely knowledgeable about English history, the monarchy through the centuries— and the various heroes and heroines of days long past. His ability to draw the listener into the story coupled with a delightful sense of humor made us want to listen. Our group of five thoroughly enjoyed the day thanks in large part to the professionalism and attention to details demonstrated by Mel and the Evan Evan’s Tour company. I’d highly recommend both if you are looking for a fun day trip outside of London.

Tour sites were good but time is so quick. Not enough time to enjoy. Best place was Stonehenge. Beautiful weather.

Only getting to 100 feet of the Stones because we had to get back in time (and then sitting there for more than 15 minutes past the time we were told we had to leave. Walking around Oxford.

Tour started with a comfortable ride to Windsor castle and then to Stonehenge which is quite an amazing experience with large green fields all around the Stonehenge. Final tourtistic destination of the excursion was Oxford

It was a wonderful trip to Windsor Castle, Stonehenge, and Oxford. Our tour guide Saul, had the knowledge and the skills to explain everything, and make this trip unforgettable.

Whoops, looks like something went wrong.
