Stop At: Stonehenge, Amesbury SP4 7DE England

Travel back over 5,000 years time to prehistoric Britain and explore the ancient ruins of the world's preeminent Neolithic monument. Enjoy 2.5 hours to explore the site at your own pace as you step inside the reconstructed Neolithic houses, furnished with replica axes, pottery and other functional items. Inside the world-class visitor exhibition centre, come face-to-face with a 5,500-year-old man and discover over 250 archaeological objects on display, including jewellery and even human remains.

Admire the impressive megaliths of the ancient Stone Circle, some of which stand over 9 metres (30 feet) tall and weigh more than 25 tons. Along the landscape of the Salisbury Plain, you'll see hundreds of barrows that stretch as far as the eye can see. Find out why these barrows exist, and answer other important questions along the way such as 'who made Stonehenge' and 'how was Stonehenge built'.

Evan Evans runs an efficient and pleasant tour to Stonehenge. The audio guide system is top-notch and not having to stand in line or order tickets on line really is convenient. The driver was friendly, competent and informative. He went above and beyond for passengers. All in all, I highly recommend. And then of course, the henge itself is magnificent and awe-inspiring. One of the best days on our trip. Thanks TripAdvisor and Evan Evans for facilitating our visit.

We took the tour to Stonehenge which was the bus ride and audio guides. The bus ride and audio guides were excellent. I gave a 4 star because the driver Michael was rude and was shouting at passengers if they arrived a bit late. There was a Korean family and the mother an elderly lady needed to use the bathrooms but he made a fuss about being on time until other passengers intervened and insisted she be allowed to take her time to use the facilities before leaving Stonehenge. I like that Evan Evans provides this option of just the bus ride and audio guides since traveling g to Salisbury on your own is about the same cost and this is much easier.

Its a very no-frills trip, which is what I wanted. The coach was comfortable, the driver was friendly and he just took us out to Stonehenge, we were free to wander and do what we wanted for a couple hours and come back. There's a lot to actually do there, additionally to see the stones and listening to the audio tour, go to the experience, etc., and this trip didn't give enough time for that, so if you are really looking to delve into the stones, go on a tour with more time. However, if like me, you just wanted to see them, take some photos, learn a bit (buy a souvenir) and leave, this is the perfect tour. Loved that this option was available.

The whole site is amazing and Viator was organized and helpful. Our coach driver Norman was a kick. Choose the extended time. Dress for various weather conditions.

The experience at Stonehenge was great The bus trip coming back the loud music was a bot much. The driver used the intercom and sang to songs the majority of the way home. I like music but not blaring and you couldn't rest on way back because muaic was too loud

I'd never been to Stonehenge but had seen most of the places offered in the combination tours - so I was happy to find this offering of just Stonehenge. The timing was perfect. Comfortable transportation to Stonehenge, and two hours to explore. This allowed me to take the shuttle bus to the stones one way, spend ample time exploring there, and then walk back to the visitor center. With enough time left to explore the exhibitions there and have a quick bite to eat. And getting back in the afternoon allowed more activities in the city on the same day. I've see Stonehenge in so many pictures and videos, and have read about it, but nothing compares to seeing it in person. I''d recommend using the audio guide provided by Evan Evan's and listening as you go around. If you're able to walk back to the visitor center, take the longer route past the ancient mounds and through the woods. Booking was easy, the bus driver was courteous and professional. This tour did not have a guide but the recorded audio guide provided was perfect.

We booked this tour for the audio guide portion and ease getting to and from Stonehenge from London. Unfortunately none of our audio equipment worked. My son’s worked in every language but English, and mine didn’t work at all. Second, on the drive back to London, the driver kept weaving and crossing over the lines on the road. We had concerns he was falling asleep. Then he started a very loud conversation on his phone for the last 60-90 minutes of the drive. He was so loud at first others on the bus got concerned he was harmed in some way and leaned forward to check on him. While none of us could nap because of how loud he was, there was comfort knowing he was awake. I would recommend a visit to Stonehenge but not with this company.

The bus driver was polite and everything went smoothly. It was an organized and safe excursion for a solo traveler. However, in general, I felt like the drive to the stones wasn’t worth how long we were at the stones in general. That’s just a personal preference as I felt that I didn’t need even 2 full hours at the stones. That doesn’t impact the tour or tour company though as the event was just as described on the website and all information was well communicated!
