this is just an awfully loud place when you have to queue for anything. avoid it if you do not want to be disappointed. Especially if your kid is under 4 yo. There is literally nothing interesting to do for children below 4 yo. Huge disappointment again. My son was bored after 5 min because there was not even a full set of toys to play with. Your local library is definitely more interesting that Kidzania so do not even bother. it is really expensive for what it is and personally I do nor believe it is worth it.

The concept of this place is great.. But unfortunately 80% of staff are awful unfriendly and rude to the children, and actually left my children in tears which i was horrified about. I would never leave my children there without a parent with them, I would not trust the stuff to look after them and treat them well ! The toilets are dirty and the overall place is run down.. Unfortunately I would not recommend this to anyone, it's a lot of money to spend and be faced with rude uncaring unenthusiastic young staff who dont know how to treat young children.. And the management need to seriously look at their staff..

Whilst in London for the weekend we booked Kidzania for my 7 year old daughter and 3 1/2 year old son. He had to be booked into the ‘Early Years’ area as he was under 4. Early Years has a room for blowing bubbles, a room for colouring, and another room with a kitchen in it. He was bored after about 15mins, and when we asked to upgrade him - they said no. Him and my wife left and wandered about the Westfield shopping centre all day (great fun for him!)… and I stayed with my daughter. Although she really enjoyed her time there, the experience was chaos. The majority of staff couldn’t be bothered. Half the activities didn’t have a ‘designated’ queue - so people were just hanging about waiting. Some activities only took 6 participants, so everyone just charged in - not necessarily in the order they arrived meaning people who’d waited 20mins didn’t get in despite being there first. The BA ‘station’ was one of the few activities that actually had a ‘lane’ for queuing. All of the adverts and literature show kids dressed up in BA uniforms etc, but my daughter never got to dress up once. Maybe this is a result of Covid… but Covid is long gone (or forgotten at least) now! Outside each activity was a note advising the duration of it. Most were 20mins, however they didn’t note when it had last started. It would be a great idea to have this somewhere so people queuing knew roughly how long the activity had been running so they knew the approx wait time. We had food vouchers, which worked out well at the Firehouse Restaurant. The food was actually pretty good for fast food - although trying to find somewhere to sit and eat it was as challenge. At the end of our 4 hours, we went to spend the KidZo’s my daughter had earned. We stood in a queue for the shop for approximately 30mins. When we got to the front, the person on the door wouldn’t let me in with my daughter. She didn’t know how many KidZo’s she had and simply picked up the first thing she saw (a coin purse) and bought it. I have no idea what else was in the shop, how many KidZo’s she’d earned, or how many she had left. Seems a bit of a sham keeping the parents out as they’d probably question the value of the ‘tar’ in the shop. The icing on the cake was having to queue for almost 20 mins to leave to get their wrist band off. After standing for 30mins in the shop line, we were in a hurry to leave… so that was a very unwelcome surprise. Overall, a great idea poorly executed. It could have been so much better. Fortunately, my 7 year old daughter didn’t see the big flaws and thoroughly enjoyed herself.

The whole experience was amazing from start to finish! We got there at 10am so were able to get lots done in that first hour. My 7 year old loved Pilot, Fire Service, Vets, The Vault and Spy Agency the most. And my 4 year old loved Nurse, Vet, Fire Service and Surgeon the most. My son managed to do 11 activities and my daughter managed 12! Every experience was fab - all of the staff we encountered were amazing with the children (except maybe the lady on the wraps who was a bit miserable). We will definitely be coming again! I wish I was a child again so I could have a turn!

I was looking forward to visiting with my two young daughters (6 & 8 years old) after some glowing recommendations, however, our experience was poor. Although the concept is great the experience is completely let down by the lack of engagement and lethargy of the young team. Due to the lack of organsational at times it felt chaotic, with majority of the team more preoccupied with chatting to one another and bemoaning about how busy it was rather the helping the kids. This was only compounded in the Gallery shop. I was with a group of parents who all shared the same thing, bemusement that no one help the children understand the concept or pricing structure. Instead, spending 20 - 25 of the children coming back and forth to the door to ask for support which we were told that we could not give! It felt an incredibly frustrating end to the day, as the children focused on earning credits (for which the last hour and a half activities didn't seem to register) only to meet with confusion on how to spent them.

Expensive for what it is. The adverts show kids in costumes. This is a lie, at best it is a hair net and a hard hat. They cannot blame COVID, because I heard they still had the costumes after COVID. It is not, or not any longer, "edutainment". The staff is in no way comparable to people working in schools or nurseries. They mostly seem to be bored students with - I hope - a CRB check. Maybe in the early days it was edutainment with qualified staff (older reviews seem positive), but no longer. The first hour they were definitely non-plussed but the kids enjoyed it overall after a while, hence the 2/5. Then they got very sad that their "salary" could not buy them anything of interest at the end: Overpriced tat in other words.

This was a birthday treat for my daughter and her friend - they are in the upper end of the age range. When I dropped them off I asked about how I could make sure they had money for food while they were in there. I was told I could give them my credit card - which I was really not going to do! I asked again at customer services, as the check in person appeared very new and didn't know what they were doing. I was told that they could earn points to get food. So I left them there. After being phoned by my daughter because she was 'starving' I went into the venue to get them a meal. I am at a loss why - when I asked the staff in the venue about food options - that they didn't tell me: a. I could have pre-bought them a meal deal; b. I could have left them with cash. The staff around the entrance and check in seem very young, not very interested in helping, and unfriendly. I hoped they were nicer to the kids inside. They did help her to call me when she was inside and I understand they were looked after and safe. But I wouldn't want to do this again.

Most staff were not enthusiastic or organised. Closes at 7pm but everything seemed to shut down around 6.40pm, not able to get any drinks near the end of our day. When the manager as asked he wasn’t interested in helping. WORRYINGLY we were let out 2 adults and 1 child WITHOUT staff checking our daughter was ours! The system was not accepting her login so she decided to just take off our wristbands. Seriously safeguarding issue. People need to be aware.

I have given a three out of five not so much because I don't recommend this place, I do think its a great place to take kids from say 5 years old upwards. We just had a disappointing experience so our daughter is almost 3 years old it does state on the website this event is aimed at older kids but as friends were going we thought we would try and the website states it has soft play, story telling baby disco so we thought why not. We paid for our tickets for me my husband and daughter which in comparison to the older kids is cheaper but its still almost £40 we paid to get in...the soft play was not a soft play it was two mock soft play beds with a few soft play wheels that you can put on a stand that was it...my daughter spent not even 5 mins in there...they had a mock kitchen which all the equipment was thrown everywhere some looked like it was missing, and a room where you could colour in a sheet of paper, all the papers were on the floor and the colouring pencils were missing, the story telling station no one was there...it was empty. This place is great for older kids and if you go they have a person manning every area and they make it exciting they greet the kids, not saying it had to be like that but at least someone around to greet you and to keep these areas tidy and clean I just don't think they should charge under 4 year olds if they are not accommodating a service for younger children and my daughter is quite mature for age she just got very frustrated as she wanted to go with the big kids to do the other activities but she was not allowed. I must say we spoke to management and they did agree to give us a full refund. This for me is more of a feedback, which I will contact kidzania about rather than a bad review. My friends kids who are aged; 6,10 and 11 really enjoyed kidzania and would go back.

I think the set up and the concept is great. I think it could have been better mapped out for the children on a piece of paper so they could see where they were going and perhaps have some sort of waiting time indicator as my son would run off as soon as he saw a queue for anything. Also the online map wasn't up to date as some of the places on that map were not open. And finally the gift shop at the end. This was very disappointing for my son and his friend. I'm not sure how on earth they could possibly work for long enough to make the money required to buy anything other than a highligher.
