The Gin Cocktail Masterclass at the Bombay Sapphire Distillery, is an interactive session on cocktail culture where you can learn the tricks of the bar trade so you can create your own cocktails easily at home. Your experience begins with a trip to the Turbine Bar where you can choose a Bombay gin to make your own complimentary gin & tonic before heading to the cinema room to be immersed in all things Bombay Sapphire in preparation for your fully-guided Discovery Experience. You’ll then be hosted by one of our Gin Experts to create Bombay Sapphire cocktails in your masterclass.

We had a thoroughly enjoyable and interesting tour followed by the highly recommended gin cocktail masterclass. All the staff are a delight, happy and helpful, Jody has a fantastic team who go above and beyond to ensure you get the most out of your visit . They are doing wonders saving a historic papermill by creating this excellent distillery and visitors centre which is well worth a visit .

What an amazing day! Beautiful scenery, amazing guides, the odd g&t and a cocktail masterclass after! You have to visit this place to experience what I mean - and it is also worth booking an experience as well. Car park - free Cafe - amazing (recommendation the ploughman’s) Naomi (tour guide was fabulous) And Vanda - who took the cocktail class… what can I say! She is an absolute credit to Bombay Sapphire - she’s fun, professional, gets the group taking, her knowledge (wow!) and her cocktails (yum!) If you like gin, don’t miss this!!

Very interesting trip and fantastic master class. Both the guide and our gin expert were very knowledgeable and very entertaining. Gin demo and tastings were so much more than anticipated. Would most definitely recommend even if not a gin drinker but would advise going there by bus as we did as the gin was plentiful!!!

What a fantastic day at Bombay, experiencing the cocktail masterclass. Due to our completely rubbish taxi company we were late arriving, but David our tour guide jigged things around to ensure our experience wasnt affected and we are so grateful! He was a brilliant guide, and the whole team at Bombay are just fantastic. Lots of gin (of course) and very generous in the cocktail making class - truly a wonderful experience! Thanks all

I had a fabulous time here, they were informative, friendly, knowledgeable. You got samples and expert advise, then allowed to sit and enjoy the area around the part of the river, with a bar and shop. Plenty of facilities to use. As a designated driver I was treated with respect and alternatives to cocktails, and and token for a sample bottle to take home. Go have fun taxi or designated driver

Went with another couple and had the gin master class which was great fun and well presented. That lasts about an hour. Short guided tour of the distillery room where the two main kettles are. Then into the botanical sniffing room to determine your favourites and then what type of gin cocktail is best for you. With that info you get a free gin cocktail. Only negative which stopped me giving it 5 stars was no food is served there. All on offer was crisps. So went to to the Dove Inn at Micheldever station.

Amazing value for money tour and cocktail masterclass. Extremely friendly and helpful staff. Would highly recommend as an informative and enjoyable experience. It should be noted that local accommodation is a necessity given the generous tastings. (Watership Down close by). Would suggest seating for the masterclass as over 2 hours is too long a time to stand.

This was one of the best things we've done on our trip so far!! My dad is a gin drinker, but the 8 of us that went on this tour with him, are now gin drinkers! The tour was outstanding!!! LOVED that they start the tour with a drink, showing you the steps to make it, and then a comfy place to sit and enjoy the drink, while watching a short movie. The tour of the distillery was extremely impressive and informative! We then went to our Master Class and that was just a blast!!!! The Gin Expert who did our class was so much fun! We thoroughly enjoyed our time while visiting the distillery and hope to visit again during our next trip to the UK!!

We watched a short film, had a tour of the distillery and then learned to make cocktails, before sitting outside by the river on a sunny afternoon drinking them! The tour was informative , relaxed and friendly. The cocktail masterclass was informative and fun . The person who taught us was so knowledgeable and answered a wide range of questions about other cocktails and ingredients afterwards. If you are going near closing time to the cafe or bar please be aware they could shut early ( the bar will tell you). There was one area in which face masks were needed ( they provided them) to protect staff so if you prefer your own take one!
