Guide was knowledgeable but we booked the combo tour and it was not worth the price. Said one thing about sherlockhomes . The guide was not warm and friendly. The entire experience was ruined for us by the attitude and shear out and our lie about what we would see and do, if you want to know more about Sherlock google the bar and go to Baker Street tube far cheaper and better to go in your own. I’m sure there are better ripper tours but this one was TERRIBLE! I want my money back

Lots about Jack the Ripper but next to Nothing about Sherlock Holmes and just mentioned one ghost story. Could have been way better.

Very Interesting and spooky! We learned a lot about several historical events, and were enthralled with the fascinating and dark history of London! Our guide Alan was also very amusing

The bus was great fun and an extra thrill to our trip as it’s a very old double decker, a classic. Our guide was very knowledgeable & full of information re: the Ripper, the locations and the women victims. I was surprised to see how narrow the actual streets were. There were places you could understand why no one saw anything. I was disappointed that there was little regarding Sherlock Holmes. Our guide did have some interesting facts he relayed on the bus. The ending place, a pub named the Sherlock Holmes, was lively and fun with good prices. I would go again. Though this is NOT for children as the guide shared more graphic descriptions of the violence.

No idea why they have you meet at the bus station. It’s a walking tour. They drive you on a very old bus that probably shouldn’t be on the road. Once we got to the walking part of the tour, the tour guide took upon himself to go into great detail on why most of what you’ve heard about Jack the Ripper is wrong, and that he has a FB Page that we should follow to get the real story. He was very long winded, and chose to talk just as much or more about English history than he did about Jack the Ripper. We chose to duck out of the walking tour after about 45 minutes. We walked by another Jack the Ripper tour and that guide seemed to be doing a much better job. I would not roll the dice on this tour.

so much history and interest. The tour guide was great. Alot of walking involved but well worth it. Got to lots of attractions while driving around London.

We had an amazing time on this tour. My brother and I are both big true crime fans, and this was such a unique opportunity to see history in person. Magnus was an amazing guide and incredibly knowledgeable. He was engaging and fun to talk to. Our driver, Lloyd, had to contend with extreme traffic conditions and road closures in preparation for the Queen's funeral. He skillfully navigated us through the streets of London, expertly handling the double decker bus. All in all, an amazing trip!

Title does not represent the tour. No Sherlock Holmes in your (went by the restaurant), no haunted London (Ten Bells has a ghost). Half the tour was on a 1950’s bus discussing history of London (top speed 20 mph) and then basically a lecture of JTR. We ran into no fewer than 10 other tour groups spewing similar story.

The tour says its a Jack the Ripper AND Sherlock Holmes tour. We did not get any of the Sherlock tour. We were dropped off in front of a pub and not seeing any sights of Sherlock. I feel it was falsely marketed.

This tour sounded amazing! We were really looking forward to taking a fun tour and see the “dark side” of London. While our tour guide was incredibly knowledgeable and we appreciated his intense passion for Jack the Ripper, this tour did not live up to the reviews or even the write up. Contrary to the tours name, there was no mention of Sherlock Holmes at all. Also, we were not dropped off at the Sherlock Holmes pub. We abruptly were let off at a bus stop and it was just “thank you, have a great evening”. We were wandering around to find the underground, and after getting a little lost, stumbled upon the Sherlock Holmes pub. The tour guide gave tons of information about Jack the Ripper, but he kept losing the interest of everyone because he went on and on with information about the subject.
