Love the opportunity to get out and stroll around and visit the shops and times and photos. The day was beautiful and our driver was fabulous! Who is so well-informed I made it fun and interesting all day. His name was Bonnie! Would love to go on another tour with him in the future

Cotswolds villages are excellent, time allocated to visit them is reasonable, but time allocated for Oxford was way too short. We were given only 1.5 hours to literally run through very basic route in the city center. We barely had time to have very short lunch at old tavern that was recommended by the guide. We had no time to check colleges, no time for a boat trip. 1.5 hours is definitely not enough for Oxford, it should be at least 1 hour longer, even 1.5 hours. Also, Russ (our guide and driver) was playing very loud music on the way back. We liked music played, but it li was unreasonably loud. We asked to reduce the volume, he did, but it became very loud again in 10-15 minutes. On the way back we asked Russ to stop near Gloucester St. as bus was passing it. We knew we could ask as on the other trip that we had a couple of days earlier guide offered to stop there as it was a convenient stop for some passengers. But Russ looked at us as idiots who don't know parking rules in London. He didn't stop there and stopped later near V&A Museum.

Hard to choose a favorite part, it was all so delightful. Oxford was especially intriguing regarding the architecture and the college scene. There appeared to be many potentially good places for lunch. The Cotswold villages were beautiful with charming shops and places for tea along with a breathtaking church. The scenery was gorgeous on the drive and the very best part of the whole tour was our guide Sam. He was extremely knowledgeable about the history of the area which he imparted with a great sense of humor. We really enjoyed him. We definitely recommend this tour.

So much of this kind of experience is impacted by the personality of your driver. Samuel was exceptional! He managed our time well, provided very useful information about options at our destinations, and also told many anecdotes along the way. In Oxford, my husband and I enjoyed a tour of Christ Church college and lunch at a shop just across the street from the college. The trout farm and gift shop in Bibury are both lovely, in addition to a short walk around the town. The last stop was long enough for tea (or a pint). Just right!

Our trip was delightful, Oxford is beautiful. The map provided was very helpful. The rain damped our spirits on the way to the Cotswolds, but our cheeky Scottish driver, Graham made the trip memorable! Thanks Graham!
