We think that this 5-day excursion to Wales and Yorkshire was perfect in every way. Well almost. There were a couple of cloudy, drizzly days, but nothing to dampen our spirits or make the countryside any less spectacular. Even though our group consisted of 14, leaving only two empty seats, the van accommodated us well. We 14 were ages 12 to 80 and hailed from Australia, USA, Canada, and the UK. We’ve taken similar excursions in the past and feel that a good driver-guide is all important. Russ way exceeds “good”. He is well-read, more than able to discuss UK past and present, and very entertaining. His humor and sunny disposition make for pleasant travel all around. (No doubt his modesty would beg us to stop here.) He created a comfortable atmosphere in which to get acquainted with one another. During longer periods between stops, he provided a delightful background of musical recordings. He was flexible in regard to our preferences and took the more scenic routes whenever possible. On the last evening together he planned a dinner for us in a spectacular moors setting. While our destinations were lovely and didn’t disappoint, Russ knew how to make each one much more than just a “place I’ve been”. Thanks, Rabbies for a great trip! Teddy & Betty

This tour was great! I had booked it for my sister and I, not really knowing what to expect. Jamie was our tour guide/driver and he was excellent. He offered commentary for the various sites and interesting facts throughout our journey. There was lots of beautiful English countryside to see along the way. I especially enjoyed Snowdonia Nat'l Park and Chatsworth House (we spent about 3 hours at the later!). Thanks Jamie, we had a great time!

This was a really great tour. Our guide Jamie was friendly, knowledgeable, and fun. The B&B accommodation was really nice. I think the highlights for us were the time in York, really a wonderful historic city, and seeing the beauty of the countryside in Wales.

Just returned from a wonderful 5 day tour of Stratford, northern Wales, Shrewsbury, York, and Cambridge. Jaime, our guide, was helpful, funny, and informative the whole way...and a good driver, too. Accomodations at bed and breakfasts were lovely, with clean, comfortable rooms and really good breakfasts. Would happily tour with Rabbies again.

The trip was a pleasure from start to finish. Collection at London Victoria was seamless and pickup point easy to find. Accomodation selected by Rabbie’s was good and special mention goes to Sonia at Trevillion House who surely serves the most delicious breakfast in shrewsbury. Expect a lot of driving - but the small bus is very comfortable and our guide Russ kept us happy with random photo stops and breaks on the way to destinations. Highlights for me were the glorious North Yorkshire Moors and beautiful Buxton. I was lucky to have a lovely travel group (no kids) and a wonderfully fun and professional guide, Russell. His enthusiasm for these beautiful places was infectious and his ability to bring people together (which is key to a happy bus) was outstanding! Would definitely do a Rabbie’s trip again.

This is a wonderful 5 day tour and encompasses so many different towns, castles, parks and mansions. The highlight of the trip for us was Snowdonia National Park which is truly breathtaking. Our guide and chauffeur, John was an amazing historian. He knew about the history of the towns and all the venues that we stopped to see. He made frequent stops which broke up the drives in between points of interest.

This small group tour exceeded all my expectations. Driver Russell Chapman was knowledgeable and helpful and fun. The Rabbies orientation to small groups in a smaller vehicle suing smaller local resources makes the possibilities endless and fun. every day had many new adventures and yet lots of flexibility to explore on our own. many days had unexpected bonuses. I will definitely book with Rabbies again: they explore Scotland, England, Ireland and now Europe. Might suggest a 2 day trip including Cambridge and Lincoln to see the old fort and the Magna Carta hint hint.Loved loved loved the trip!

Jamie was our driver/guide--superb young man, very knowledgeable and witty. He took great care of us on and off the coach. Excellent driving and a credit to your company. The tour was extremely good value with good accommodation. Lots of history and beautiful countryside. Lucky enough to see Snowdon without cloud or rain! We had a full mini bus and all got on well. This is definately a great way to have a glimpse of places, with a view of visiting again. Thanks Jamie. Rita & Betty.
