Highly recommended - 2 fascinating hours packed with in-depth knowledge about the West End Musical Theatre phenomenon - the full works - the shows, stars, songs (snippets performed live!), history, architecture, and engaging Q&A discussions along the way. Neil has such an encyclopaedic knowledge and obvious enthusiasm for the venues, shows past and present, and the people who make it all happen. We really learned a lot and have been inspired to see more shows in future (have just booked to see a current touring production Neil recommended). Bravo !!

We were determined to get this tour at the onset to get ideas of which shows to watch, and Neil certainly didn’t disappoint. We ended up watching all the shows Neil recommended and loved all of them! His in-depth knowledge of the history and all sorts of trivia on musicals and the theatres certainly gave context to the shows we watched and helped us appreciate the experience more! A bonus is his artistic rendition of songs that added fun and flavour to the tour!

We went on the West End Musical tour with Neil on15th May 2022. I actually live in London and am a huge fan of both musicals and indeed walking tours. I have been on many London walking tours but if you want to understand the west end this is definitely the best. Excellent knowledge of the history of London theatre, both the shows and buildings, with great historical anecdotes - interspersed with snippets of song guaranteed to entertain musical theatre lovers. Also responding to requests from our group some top tips on the best current shows and how to access good value tickets. (As a local and frequent London theatre visitor, all advice was spot on)

Excellent tour of west end theatres and musicals, both informative and entertaining. Found out lots of things I didn't know about the history of London stage life through the centuries. Hoping to use it in some upcoming pub quizzes. Cheers Neil.
