Step inside 1500 years of history to the sight of the very first cathedral in England. Here your guide will explain the story of how a dispute between a King and an Archbishop ended in chaos and the assassination of Thomas Becket in AD 1170.

What could be more of a symbol of British identity than the White Cliffs of Dover?! Once romanticised through the words of Vera Lynn, The White Cliffs of Dover served as a message of hope and strength through some of the darkest hours of World War II. This is why we take you to the Battle of Britain Memorial, where you will not only be able to admire the cliffs but pay your respect to 'The Few' that fought to defend the country against the German Airforce.

Lord Conway once described this magnificent Castle as 'The Lovliest Castle in the world' and it doesn't take much imagination to see why.

Leeds has been the home of numerous Queens of England, as well as the home of an American Heiress Lady Baillie in the 1900's. Her Art Deco style still remains inside much of the castle today, as well as Henry VIII's large refurbishment for his first wife Catherine of Aragon

We were lucky to have Oz as our tour operator for a trip to Dover to meet our cruise ship and then a return pickup back to London. The return trip included tours of Leeds Castle and Canterbury Cathedral. Oz possesses unique knowledge given his History studies and passion for English lore.

I've wanted to visit England since learning about the history of the British Empire in school. I finally got the opportunity to visit and wanted to get the best experience. I googled the best tours and after a little research I came across TT. Going on the reviews of past tours I decided to give them a go and boy am I glad that I did. I was travelling solo and my guide for the day, Ozzie, really lived up to the company name and tailored everything to my wishes. We had an amazing time in Kent and I learnt so much about the history of the county as well as the whole country, the monarchy and so much more besides. I was treated like a king for the day and loved every minute. Thank you so much, Ozzie and everyone at TT for making my day!

We had such a wonderful day with Oz in Canterbury, Dover and Leeds Castle. In the morning he gave us the choice to see canterbury or Dover first, which we really liked being able to have that flexibility. Leeds Castle was so pretty as well. A real highlight of our trip. Thank you Oz!

Oz was an excellent host and guide. He was always considerate and conscience of our experience on the tours. We had two tours with Oz and they were some of the highlights of our time in England. Lots of history and great cultural perspective of where and how the people and places across the country originated, managed, and thrived into contemporary England. Beyond that, Oz was always considerate of his tourists curiosity and quirkiness.

Tailored tour did amazing job for our day trip. Really tailored the trip for our comfort and preferences. The tour with Oz who has great and engaging knowledges of history, we enjoyed and got best out of each place so much. He was just a genuinely nice fella that I can enjoy to hang out and may have a beer or two. It would be impossible to visit that many places in a single day without his guide and yet we weren't felt rushed. Highly recommended for any group of family or friends!!

Our group of 7 had a marvelous time on this tour. Our driver, Will, was fun and informative. The stop at the Battle of Britain really brought home how narrow the Channel is, and we loved walking on the beach at the Cliffs. The Canterbury Cathedral and town, and Leeds Castle were all just fantastic. We highly recommend this tour.

We had a great time on our tour. Oz came to pick us up right on time from the hotel. Oz was incredibly knowledgeable about where we were headed, the history of what we were seeing, and the areas we drove through. I wouldn’t hesitate to book tailored tours again if I were back in the area.

Oz picked us up right at 7:30a from our hotel to start the tour. The van was comfortable and clean. Oz started telling us about the different areas we were driving through as well as the history for the sights we were headed to. He also answered any random questions we had along the way. He is incredibly engaging and knowledgeable. You can tell he loves sharing that knowledge with people on his tours. I would recommend him to anyone coming to London and would not hesitate to book him again.

This was a fantastic experience! Just the right amount of sites to fit a day, with enough time at each stop. I loved all of it. Oz is really knowledgeable about English history, and we spent the drive time discussing the history relevant to the next stop. It gave so much more meaning to each site, and I went home knowing so much more! The places were also beautiful, especially the Leeds castle grounds. This is my second tour with Oz and I only wish I had time for more on this trip. Well worth it for the personalized service. A+ tours.
